ANOMALITH has two main digital editions. Standard includes the base game, while Digital Deluxe adds an 80-page digital artbook, a mini soundtrack and the Anomaly Zone Countermeasures Office DLC Set. That DLC set includes three Armed Schoolgirl outfit sets, a Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle, a Double-Barreled Shotgun, a Prototype Handgun and consumables. The PS5 Digital Deluxe listing in the US also advertises 48-hour early access.
Physical editions are separate products with their own dates and contents. The western PS5 Physical Launch Edition and Japanese limited physical packages differ from the digital editions. Preorder bonuses are also separate from permanent Deluxe content. This page compares each option so you can pick the right one.
Standard Edition
The Standard Edition includes the base game. It is the lowest-priced way to play on each platform. The US PlayStation Store lists Standard at $49.99 before discounts. Standard gives you the full single-player experience.
If you are only interested in the game itself, Standard is the simplest choice. The Deluxe extras are optional and do not appear to be required for progress. You can try the free demo first to decide whether to buy at all.
Digital Deluxe Edition contents
The Digital Deluxe Edition adds several extras on top of the base game. The US PlayStation Store and Nintendo US store both list the bundle. The DLC portion is called the Anomaly Zone Countermeasures Office DLC Set. Its contents are listed below.
- 80-page digital artbook
- Mini soundtrack
- Three Armed Schoolgirl outfit sets
- Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle
- Double-Barreled Shotgun
- Prototype Handgun
- Consumables
The US PlayStation Store lists Digital Deluxe at $69.99 before discounts. Prices vary by region and platform. The pricing guide lists every verified price.
Standard and Deluxe compared
The table below summarises the confirmed differences. It is based on the US PlayStation Store and Nintendo US store listings. Contents may vary slightly by region.
| Feature | Standard | Digital Deluxe |
|---|---|---|
| Base game | Yes | Yes |
| 80-page digital artbook | No | Yes |
| Mini soundtrack | No | Yes |
| DLC Set (outfits, three weapons, consumables) | No | Yes |
| 48-hour early access | No | PS5 US listing only |
| US PS5 listed price | $49.99 | $69.99 |
The early-access row applies to the US PS5 listing we checked. The Nintendo listing did not establish the same benefit. Check your platform's store before assuming it applies.
PS5 early access is platform-specific
The US PS5 Digital Deluxe listing advertises 48-hour early access. The retrieved Nintendo Deluxe listing did not establish PS5-style early access. We did not verify a Steam early-access offer either. Do not extend the benefit to other platforms without confirmation.
If playing early matters to you, check the Deluxe listing on your own platform. The PS5 store currently gives the clearest early-access information. Our release date guide explains standard launch times.
Are the Deluxe weapons better?
The Deluxe set includes three bonus weapons, but no evidence shows they are mandatory or best-in-slot. Being part of a paid edition does not mean they outperform base-game weapons. Weapon performance also depends on upgrades and attachments. No controlled weapon comparison was available at the time of writing.
Treat the Deluxe weapons as extra options rather than a required advantage. The best weapons guide explains how to compare guns fairly. Outfits are cosmetic, since the Steam page describes appearance as separate from equipment performance.
The artbook and soundtrack
The 80-page digital artbook and the mini soundtrack are the non-gameplay extras in Digital Deluxe. Both are listed on the US PlayStation Store and Nintendo US store pages. They suit players interested in the game's art direction and music. The character design is by MON, who appears in an official creator interview from FURYU's channel.
These extras do not affect gameplay in any way. If you are only interested in playing, they add little practical value. Fans of the game's style may find them the most appealing part of the bundle.
Who should choose Deluxe?
Digital Deluxe suits players who value the artbook, soundtrack and extra items. It also suits PS5 players who want 48-hour early access according to the US listing. Standard suits players who only want the base game at the lowest price. Neither choice changes the core game.
- Choose Standard if you only want the game.
- Choose Digital Deluxe for the digital extras and DLC set.
- Choose Digital Deluxe on PS5 if early access matters to you.
You can always try the free demo before deciding. The demo does not transfer saves, but it shows whether the game suits you. It is available on Steam, PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2.
Western PS5 Physical Launch Edition
The western PS5 Physical Launch Edition is a separate product. It is scheduled for November 12, 2026, later than the digital release. NIS Europe lists it at £55 including UK VAT and notes bundled DLC. Gematsu lists it separately from Digital Deluxe.
Do not assume the physical bundle matches Digital Deluxe exactly. Compare the contents on the retailer's listing. Our physical edition guide explains formats and regions.
Japanese limited physical editions
Gematsu's announcement report covers Standard, Digital Deluxe and Japanese limited physical options. FURYU's Japanese announcement lists a limited physical and Digital Deluxe price of ¥12,100 tax-inclusive. The Japanese Switch 2 physical package is a Game-Key Card. These editions are designed for the Japanese market.
If you consider importing, check language support, region compatibility and included DLC first. Similarly named editions are not necessarily identical. Confirm everything with the retailer.
Preorder bonuses are separate
Preorder bonuses depend on the storefront and region. They should not be treated as permanent Deluxe exclusives. US PS5 listings include Lost Property Control Organization collaboration content. Some collaboration rewards require mission progression before they unlock.
Compare preorder offers in their own right rather than as part of an edition. The preorder guide lists confirmed offers by platform. Bonus names can differ between stores.
Edition comparison video
URBAN GAMEPLAY's comparison video, embedded above, walks through Standard, Deluxe and physical editions. Its chapters cover PS5 Standard, PS5 Deluxe and western and Japanese physical options. It is a creator's overview rather than an official source. Prices and offers in videos can be out of date.
Use the video as a visual guide and confirm details in the official stores. The creator's description itself avoids fixed prices because offers change. The tables on this page reflect store listings checked on October 25, 2026.
What remains unconfirmed
We have not verified that the DLC weapons are mandatory or stronger than base-game options. Region-specific bonus names and redemption terms also need checking before treating bundles as identical. Steam Deluxe details were not separately verified. We will update this page as more listings are confirmed.
If you notice a difference in your region's edition contents, our contact page explains how to report it. Include a link to the store listing. We will verify it before updating.
