US PS5 digital prices

The US PlayStation Store lists Standard at $49.99 and Digital Deluxe at $69.99. Gematsu's May 21 announcement report corroborates those western digital prices. Two independent sources therefore agree on the base prices. These are the most reliable prices we found.

Digital Deluxe adds an artbook, a mini soundtrack and a DLC set. The US PS5 Deluxe listing also advertises 48-hour early access. The editions guide explains what the extra $20 includes.

PlayStation Plus preorder discount

Eligible PlayStation Plus members were offered a preorder discount in the US store. Standard dropped to $44.99 and Digital Deluxe to $62.99 for those members. The observed offer ends on October 28 at 15:00 UTC, the PS5 digital release time. After that, the standard listed prices apply unless a new offer appears.

This discount is conditional on membership. It is not the universal sale price, and non-members pay the listed price. Do not compare the membership price with other platforms' listed prices as if they were equivalent.

UK physical price

NIS Europe lists the PS5 Physical Launch Edition at £55 including UK VAT. Shipping and destination taxes can change the final cost. The edition is scheduled for November 12, 2026. It includes bundled DLC according to the listing.

Gematsu reported a $59.99 price when the western physical edition was announced. That is an announcement price rather than a verified current US checkout offer. Retailer prices may differ. Our physical edition guide covers the release in detail.

Japanese prices

FURYU's Japanese announcement lists tax-inclusive prices. Standard is ¥8,580, while the Japanese limited physical edition and Digital Deluxe are ¥12,100. These are announced prices for the Japanese market. They include Japanese consumption tax.

Do not convert these yen figures into unofficial prices for other countries. Exchange rates and regional pricing policies differ. Use each region's own store for local prices.

Steam and Nintendo prices

The retrieved Steam listing did not offer a full-game purchase price. The retrieved Nintendo store text also did not expose a current checkout price. We therefore do not list prices for those platforms. Check the Steam store and Nintendo eShop in your region.

Do not assume PS5 prices apply to Steam or Switch 2. Platforms can set different prices for the same edition. We will add verified prices when they become visible.

Digital versus physical cost

In the US, the Standard digital edition is listed at $49.99. The western physical edition was announced at $59.99, though that is not a verified current checkout price. The physical edition includes bundled DLC and arrives later, on November 12. Digital lets you play at launch.

  • Digital Standard is the lowest listed US price.
  • Digital Deluxe adds extras and, on PS5, early access.
  • The physical edition includes bundled DLC but arrives later.

Compare what each option includes rather than the price alone. The bundled content differs between editions. Launch timing also differs, since the physical edition arrives about two weeks later.

Is Deluxe worth the extra cost?

Digital Deluxe costs $20 more than Standard in the US PS5 store. For that, you get an 80-page digital artbook, a mini soundtrack and the DLC set. On PS5, the US listing also includes 48-hour early access. Whether that is worth it depends on how much you value those extras.

The DLC weapons have not been shown to be stronger than base-game weapons. Outfits are cosmetic, since appearance is separate from equipment performance. Buy Deluxe for the extras you want, not for an expected gameplay advantage.

How long the game lasts for the price

Playtime is one way to judge value. Noisy Pixel's review reports finishing in roughly sixteen to twenty hours, which reflects one reviewer's route. The producer's October 21 letter estimates at least thirty hours for broad content completion, including side missions and reports. Those two figures measure different things and should not be compared directly.

A main-story run and a fuller completion run will naturally take different amounts of time. Your own pace and difficulty choice will also matter. Our review summary explains both figures in context.

Try before you buy

A free demo is available on Steam, PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2. It is the best way to decide whether the game is worth its price to you. The producer estimates the demo covers about ten percent of the game's content. Demo save data is not expected to carry over.

Noisy Pixel's full review was published on October 21 and may also help you decide. Our review summary covers its main points. The demo guide explains what the demo includes.
