ANOMALITH releases on October 29, 2026 in Japan Standard Time, according to publisher FURYU. In the US PlayStation Store, the digital unlock is October 28 at 15:00 UTC, which is 08:00 PDT and 11:00 EDT on October 28. Steam and the Nintendo US store both display October 28 as their regional date. The western PS5 physical edition follows later, on November 12, 2026.
The PS5 Digital Deluxe Edition also advertises 48-hour early access. Standard digital release, early access and physical delivery are three separate dates. This page lists each one by platform and explains which times have been confirmed. Exact unlock times for Steam and Nintendo were not independently established.
The official release date
FURYU's official English website gives the global release date as October 29, 2026 in Japan Standard Time. The official System Trailer's description uses the same date. Gematsu's May 21 report covered the original announcement of a late-October launch. This is the date the publisher uses worldwide.
Because the date is given in JST, players in other time zones may see the game earlier on their local calendar. Midnight on October 29 in Japan is still October 28 in Europe and the Americas. That explains why several storefronts list October 28. Both dates describe the same launch.
Release dates by platform
Each platform has its own listing, and not all of them show an exact time. The table below summarises what each official store displayed at the time of checking. Times are only given where a store published one.

The US PlayStation Store lists a precise digital release time of October 28, 2026 at 15:00 UTC. That converts to several common time zones as shown below. These conversions apply to the observed PS5 timestamp only. Other platforms may differ.

The US PS5 Digital Deluxe listing advertises 48-hour early access. That is a benefit of that specific edition and storefront. We did not verify a matching early-access offer for Steam or Nintendo Switch 2. Do not extend the benefit to other platforms without a platform-specific listing.

Steam release date
Steam displays October 28, 2026 as the regional release date. The publisher's global date is October 29 JST. An exact Steam unlock time was not independently confirmed in our research. Check the Steam store page for any update closer to launch.
Steam also describes an early-purchase bonus window from October 29 through November 11, 2026 JST. That window is about bonuses rather than release timing. Our Steam guide covers PC requirements and the demo.
Nintendo Switch 2 release date
The Nintendo US store lists ANOMALITH for Switch 2 with an October 28, 2026 release date. The publisher's global date remains October 29 JST. An exact eShop unlock time was not independently confirmed. The game is listed for Switch 2 only, not the original Switch.
Japan also has a physical Switch 2 edition on October 29, released as a Game-Key Card. That is a separate product from the eShop version. Our Switch 2 guide explains both.
Physical release dates
The western PS5 Physical Launch Edition is scheduled for November 12, 2026. Gematsu reported the date in August, and NIS Europe's store lists it. That is about two weeks after the digital launch. Physical buyers in the West should plan for the later date.

Preorder offers before launch
US PS5 listings include preorder collaboration content, and eligible PlayStation Plus members were offered a preorder discount. The observed PS Plus offer ends at the PS5 release time of October 28 at 15:00 UTC. Membership discounts are conditional rather than universal. Check your store for current offers.

Play the demo before release
A free demo is available now on Steam, PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2. It was released on October 7 and has since received updates. The demo lets you try the game while you wait for launch. Its save data is not expected to carry over to the full game.
The producer estimates the demo represents about ten percent of the game's content. That gives a meaningful preview of the shooting and resource systems. Our demo guide lists every dated change.
Interest ahead of launch
The developer announced on October 19, 2026 that ANOMALITH had passed 120,000 Steam wishlists. That milestone comes from the official Steam announcements page. It is not a sales number or a live player count. It does indicate strong interest before release.

We have not confirmed exact unlock times for Steam or the Nintendo eShop. The time zone conversions on this page apply only to the observed PS5 timestamp. We will not publish a single global countdown for every platform without each store's own confirmation. Release details can also change before launch.
