Yes, ANOMALITH is on Nintendo Switch 2. Nintendo's US store lists the game and its Digital Deluxe Edition for Switch 2 with an October 28, 2026 regional release date. The global publisher uses October 29 JST. A free Switch 2 demo is available now.
Japan's physical Switch 2 release was announced as a Game-Key Card, not a cartridge containing the full game. No version for the original Nintendo Switch is established by the sources we checked. This page covers the Switch 2 release, editions, demo and physical format. Performance details remain unverified.
Confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2
Nintendo's US store has a product page for ANOMALITH on Nintendo Switch 2. That is the clearest confirmation of the platform from an official storefront. Gematsu's May 21 report on the game's announcement also lists Switch 2 support. FURYU's official website names Switch 2 alongside PS5 and PC.
The sources we checked do not establish a version for the original Nintendo Switch. Make sure you have a Switch 2 before buying. If you see an older-console listing, check it carefully against the official store.
Switch 2 release date
The Nintendo US store displays October 28, 2026 as the regional release date. The global publisher announces October 29, 2026 in Japan Standard Time. Those dates describe the same launch window from different regions. An exact unlock time for the Nintendo eShop was not independently confirmed.
Do not rely on a countdown that assumes Switch 2 unlocks at the same moment as PS5. The PS5 store lists a precise time, but Nintendo's listing does not. Our release date guide compares the platforms.
Standard versus Digital Deluxe
Nintendo's US store lists a separate Digital Deluxe Edition for Switch 2. It adds a digital artbook, a mini soundtrack and a DLC bundle. Across platforms, the Deluxe DLC set is named the Anomaly Zone Countermeasures Office DLC Set. It includes outfits, three bonus weapons and consumables.
The retrieved Nintendo listing did not establish PS5-style 48-hour early access. Do not assume that benefit applies to Switch 2 unless Nintendo's listing confirms it. The editions guide compares everything in each version.
Switch 2 price
The retrieved Nintendo store text did not expose a current checkout price. We therefore do not list a Switch 2 price on this page. Other platforms show different prices by region and edition. Check the Nintendo eShop in your region for the current figure.
For reference, the US PlayStation Store lists Standard at $49.99 and Digital Deluxe at $69.99. Those are PS5 prices and should not be assumed for Switch 2. The pricing guide lists every verified price.
The free Switch 2 demo
A free demo is available on Nintendo Switch 2. Gematsu reported its release on October 7, alongside the PS5 and PC demos. It is the best way to see how the game runs on your own system before buying. The demo includes the core shooting and resource systems.
Demo save data is not expected to carry over to the full game. The PS5 demo store page states this explicitly, and the demo announcement reports no carryover. Treat the demo as a test rather than a head start. The demo guide lists every update.
Watch Switch 2 gameplay
ContraNetwork's Nintendo Switch 2 gameplay video, embedded above, shows the game running on the console. It was uploaded on October 8, after the demo launched. The video is useful for getting a visual impression. It does not include measured frame-rate or resolution results.
NintendoGalaxy also uploaded docked demo gameplay without commentary. That recording is not a reproducible frame-rate test either. Use gameplay videos as impressions rather than technical analysis.
Japan's Game-Key Card release
Japan's physical Switch 2 release was announced as a Game-Key Card. Gematsu's announcement report distinguishes it from the Japanese PS5 physical release. A Game-Key Card is not described as a cartridge containing the full game. Expect to need a download to play.
Do not treat the Japanese physical announcement as confirmation of a western boxed Switch 2 release. The western physical edition announced so far is for PS5. Our physical edition guide explains the regional differences.
Which version should you buy?
If you only own a Switch 2, the choice is between Standard and Digital Deluxe on the eShop. Deluxe suits players who want the artbook, soundtrack and DLC set. Standard suits players who only want the base game. Neither version has been shown to perform differently.
- Choose Standard if you only want the base game.
- Choose Digital Deluxe for the digital extras and DLC set.
- Consider Japan's Game-Key Card only if you understand the import and download requirements.
Try the demo first if you are unsure how the game will feel on Switch 2. That costs nothing and answers the most important question. Your demo save will not carry over, so treat it as a trial.
What you get on Switch 2
ANOMALITH is a single-player survival third-person shooter set in distorted spaces in Japan. You play as Reona Minazuki, who searches Anomaly Zones for her missing friend. Each dive involves exploration, combat and deciding what to bring back to base. The official materials confirm twelve Anomalization Skills that support your guns.
Nothing in the sources we checked suggests that the Switch 2 version removes any of these systems. The same official description covers all three platforms. Our beginner guide explains the core loop in detail.
Languages on Switch 2
The Steam store page lists English, Japanese and Korean text support, with full Japanese voice acting. Switch 2 language options were not separately confirmed in the sources we checked. The western physical PS5 edition lists Japanese audio and English text. Check the Nintendo listing in your region before buying.
If language matters to you, the free demo is a quick way to confirm the available options. Website language support and in-game language support are separate. Our site is currently in English only.
What is not yet confirmed
We have not verified handheld or docked resolution, a frame-rate cap, gyro aiming support or the full-game download size. The Nintendo listing we retrieved did not show a current price. We will update this page once these details can be checked. Treat performance claims without testing details with caution.
If you measure performance after launch, our contact page explains how to share it. Please include whether you played docked or handheld. Your game version helps us compare results.
