ANOMALITH is listed on Steam for Windows, with a free demo and an October 28, 2026 regional release date. The minimum requirements are Windows 11, an Intel Core i5-6600 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600, 12 GB of RAM and a GTX 1050 Ti or RX 5500 XT. You need 40 GB of storage for both minimum and recommended specs. The retrieved Steam listing did not show a full-game purchase price.
These are the store's published specifications, not measured frame-rate guarantees. Steam Deck compatibility was shown as Unknown at the time of checking. This page covers requirements, the demo, languages, input support and what is still unconfirmed. All details come from the official Steam page and developer announcements.
PC system requirements
The Steam store page publishes minimum and recommended requirements. Both tiers require Windows 11 and DirectX 11. The main differences are the processor, memory and graphics card. Storage stays at 40 GB in both cases.
| Requirement | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| OS | Windows 11 | Windows 11 |
| CPU | Intel Core i5-6600 / AMD Ryzen 5 2600 | Intel Core i5-10400 / AMD Ryzen 5 3600 |
| Memory | 12 GB RAM | 16 GB RAM |
| GPU | NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti / AMD RX 5500 XT | NVIDIA RTX 2060 / AMD RX 5700 XT |
| DirectX | Version 11 | Version 11 |
| Storage | 40 GB available | 40 GB available |
These requirements come from one authoritative store source. Independent performance testing was not available at the time of writing. Use the free demo to check how the game runs on your own PC.
What the requirements mean
The minimum specs describe the lowest supported hardware, not a target frame rate. Meeting the recommended specs should give a smoother experience, but the store does not promise specific performance. Settings, resolution and drivers all affect results. Treat the table as a compatibility guide.
Windows 11 is listed for both tiers. That is worth checking before buying if you still use an older version of Windows. No native macOS or Linux build was verified in our research. The demo is the safest way to confirm compatibility.
The free Steam demo
A free demo is available from the official Steam store page. Gematsu reported the Steam demo launching alongside the PS5 and Switch 2 versions on October 7. The demo includes the core shooting, inventory and resource systems. It lets you test performance and controls before buying.
The producer estimates the demo covers about ten percent of the game's content. Demo save data is not expected to carry over; the PS5 store page states this explicitly. The demo guide lists every dated change.
Steam release date
The Steam store displays October 28, 2026 as the regional release date. The publisher's global date is October 29, 2026 in Japan Standard Time. An exact Steam unlock time was not independently confirmed. Do not assume Steam unlocks at the same moment as the PS5 store.
The US PS5 store gives an exact time of October 28 at 15:00 UTC. That time applies to PS5 only. Our release date guide compares every platform.
Mouse and keyboard improvements
The September 29 developer update added mouse support for inventory and other interface operations. It also added keybinding options and sensitivity changes. These are especially relevant for PC players using mouse and keyboard. Early demo players may find the current controls noticeably different.
In an interview with AUTOMATON, the producer discussed improvements for mouse and keyboard users. That shows the team responded to feedback from the PC demo. Controller support is also listed on the Steam page.
Languages on Steam
The Steam store lists English, Japanese and Korean text support. Japanese is the listed voice language, with full Japanese voice acting. English interface and subtitles are supported. That means English speakers can play with Japanese audio and English text.
Game language support and website language support are separate. This site is currently available in English. Check the Steam page for any later language additions.
Steam Deck status
Steam Deck compatibility was shown as Unknown at the time of checking. Unknown means Valve had not published a rating. It is neither Verified nor a finding that the game cannot run. Players should wait for a rating or test the demo themselves.
The minimum PC requirements give some context, but they do not predict Steam Deck performance. We will update this page if Valve publishes a compatibility rating. Community reports should be treated as individual experiences.
Price and early purchase bonus on Steam
The retrieved Steam listing did not offer a full-game purchase price. We therefore do not list a Steam price. Other platforms show prices that vary by region and edition. Check the Steam store in your region for the current figure.
Steam describes an early-purchase bonus window from October 29 through November 11, 2026 JST. That window is not proof that Steam preorders are open. We also did not verify a Steam 48-hour early-access offer. The preorder guide compares bonuses across platforms.
Steam news and community
The official Steam announcements page is where the developer posts update notes. It documented the September 29 improvements and the October 7 demo changes. The producer's letter of October 21 was also published there. Following the page is the easiest way to see new patch notes on PC.
The Steam discussions board is useful for reading real player questions about the demo and controls. Player posts are individual experiences rather than verified facts. Our site links to both from the footer.
Wishlist milestone
The developer announced on October 19, 2026 that ANOMALITH had passed 120,000 Steam wishlists. That figure is a milestone from the official announcements page. It is not a sales figure or a live player count. It does show strong interest ahead of launch.
Wishlisting the game on Steam lets you receive release notifications. It does not reserve a copy or lock in a price. Use the store page to follow updates.
What is still unconfirmed on PC
The hardware requirements have a single authoritative source, and independent performance testing is still missing. We have not verified a native macOS or Linux build, a Steam price or a Steam early-access offer. Steam Deck status remained Unknown. We will update this page once those details are confirmed.
If you test the game on PC after launch, our contact page explains how to share results. Include your CPU, GPU, RAM and settings. That makes reports much easier to compare.
