ANOMALITH is coming to PS5, and the US PlayStation Store lists the digital release at October 28, 2026, 15:00 UTC. That is October 29 at midnight in Japan. Standard costs $49.99 and the Digital Deluxe Edition costs $69.99 before any discounts, and a free PS5 demo is available now. The western physical PS5 edition follows later, on November 12, 2026.

The US Digital Deluxe listing also advertises 48-hour early access. Prices on this page are a dated snapshot of the US store taken on October 25, 2026. Regional prices and offers can differ, so check your own store before buying. This page covers release timing, prices, editions, the demo and what is still unknown about performance.

PS5 digital release time

The US PlayStation Store gives an exact digital release timestamp of October 28, 2026 at 15:00 UTC. That equals 08:00 PDT and 11:00 EDT on October 28. In Japan it is midnight at the start of October 29. This matches the publisher's global date of October 29 JST.

Because the store provides a precise time, PS5 players have the clearest launch timing of any platform. Other storefronts show a regional date without an independently verified unlock time. Our release date guide compares every platform side by side.

PS5 prices in the US store

The US PlayStation Store lists the Standard Edition at $49.99 and the Digital Deluxe Edition at $69.99. Those are the listed prices before applicable discounts. Eligible PlayStation Plus members were offered a preorder discount at the time of checking. The membership offer is conditional and is not the universal price.

EditionListed pricePS Plus preorder offer
Standard$49.99 USD$44.99 USD
Digital Deluxe$69.99 USD$62.99 USD

The observed PS Plus offer ends at the digital release time on October 28 at 15:00 UTC. Prices were checked on October 25, 2026 and may change. The pricing guide includes UK and Japanese prices too.

Digital Deluxe and early access

The US Digital Deluxe listing advertises 48-hour early access. That benefit is specific to the PS5 listing we checked. It should not be assumed for Steam or Nintendo Switch 2 without their own platform-specific offer. Check the listing in your region to confirm.

Digital Deluxe also adds an 80-page digital artbook, a mini soundtrack and the Anomaly Zone Countermeasures Office DLC Set. The DLC set includes outfits, three bonus weapons and consumables. The editions guide breaks down every item.

Preorder bonuses on PS5

The US PS5 listings include Lost Property Control Organization collaboration content. The store uses the outfit name "Blue Powered Suit" for one item. The publisher's English website uses a different label for an outfit, so the names should not be assumed to match. Preserve each storefront's wording when comparing offers.

Some collaboration rewards require mission progression or unlocking a facility. They are not all immediate inventory items at the start of the game. The preorder guide compares offers across platforms.

The free PS5 demo

A free ANOMALITH demo is available on the US PlayStation Store. Gematsu reported the PS5 demo launching alongside the PC and Switch 2 versions on October 7. It is the easiest way to test the game before buying. The demo includes the core shooting and resource systems.

The PS5 demo store page explicitly says that save data cannot transfer to the full game. Plan to start again at launch rather than continuing your demo progress. Owning the demo is also not the same as owning the full release. The demo guide lists every dated update.

Offline single-player

The US PlayStation Store listing supports offline single-player play. ANOMALITH is a single-player survival third-person shooter, so there is no multiplayer mode to plan around. You can play the whole experience on your own. This is helpful if your connection is unreliable.

Check the store page for any additional network features in your region. Our information comes from the US listing at the time of checking. The game's official website also describes it as a single-player experience.

Western PS5 physical edition

The western PS5 Physical Launch Edition is scheduled for November 12, 2026. That is later than the October digital release. Gematsu reported the date in August, and NIS Europe's store lists the same date. Physical buyers should not expect their copy on the digital launch day.

NIS Europe lists the Physical Launch Edition at £55 including UK VAT at the time of research. Gematsu reported a $59.99 western announcement price, which is not a verified current US checkout offer. Our physical edition guide covers regions and formats.

Japanese PS5 physical release

Japan's announcement includes a physical PS5 edition on October 29. FURYU's Japanese announcement lists tax-inclusive prices for the regional boxed editions. The Japanese and western boxed releases are separate products. Their dates, prices and contents differ.

If you consider importing, compare region, language support, format and included DLC first. Similarly named editions are not necessarily identical. The western edition from NIS Europe lists Japanese audio and English text.

Should you buy digital or physical?

Digital is the choice if you want to play at launch, since the physical edition arrives about two weeks later in the West. Digital Deluxe adds early access on PS5 according to the US listing. Physical suits players who prefer a boxed copy and do not mind waiting. Each option has its own bundle contents.

  • Choose Standard digital to play at launch for the lowest listed price.
  • Choose Digital Deluxe for early access and the DLC set.
  • Choose the Physical Launch Edition if you want a boxed copy and can wait until November 12.

These suggestions follow the listed dates and contents. Prices and bonuses can change, so recheck before buying. The free demo can help you decide whether to buy at all.

Languages and audio on PS5

The western PS5 Physical Launch Edition lists Japanese audio and English text. The Steam store lists English, Japanese and Korean text support with full Japanese voice acting. PS5 digital language options were not separately confirmed in the sources we checked. Check the PlayStation Store listing in your region for the final list.

If you prefer English text with Japanese voices, the available listings suggest that setup is supported. The free PS5 demo is a quick way to confirm the options yourself. Language availability can differ between regional products.

What we do not know about PS5 performance

No verified PS5 resolution, frame-rate target or graphics mode list was available at the time of writing. We also have not confirmed any PS5 Pro enhancement specification. A PS5 Pro demo recording exists, but it is not a measured comparison with the base console. We will not publish performance figures without reliable testing.

Once the full game is out, we will update this page with verified details. Store prices on this page are a dated US snapshot. Check the PlayStation Store in your region for current offers.
